Bookings made over 99 days from departure
An initial deposit of $99 is required to reserve your reservation, should you be enrolling in the automatic payment plan. Should you be enrolled in the manual payment plan, an upfront deposit of $450 is required. You also have the option to pay up front in full, or through Affirm. See more about our payment options here.
Bookings made under 99 days from departure
If you're booking your trip within 99 days of its departure and enrolling in the automatic payment plan with either 2 monthly payments or 4 biweekly payments, you are required to put down an initial deposit of $750. This increase is a result of reservations and non-recoverable costs needing to be made immediately upon enrollment. You must either pay in full at the time of booking, or sign up for the automatic payment plan to pay your remaining balance.
Promotional deposits
We may offer lower deposit amounts during the occasional promotional period. These deposits are immediately non-refundable, even during the 30-day worry free booking window.
Why is the reservation fee non-refundable?
EF Ultimate Break incurs substantial non-recoverable costs and expenses in planning, preparing, and pre-paying amounts for tours from the time of enrollment. The reservation fee helps cover these upfront costs.
Please note: EF Ultimate Earth tours have different deposit terms. See EF Ultimate Earth Supplemental Terms for details.
