Flying in early or returning later

Extending your trip

If you're looking to extend your trip but fly into or out of the same gateway that your tour normally flies through, there will be a base fee of $75. If you'd like to fly into or out of a different gateway than your tour flies through, there will be a base fee of $145. Check out some sample scenarios below:

- You're heading to Venice, Florence & Rome and want to fly in a day early to Venice to catch up on your sleep before your big adventure. This will cost $75 plus any fare difference the airline might charge.

- You just can't get enough of Europe after an epic European Road Trip and want to explore a bit more. Instead of leaving with the group from Rome on the last day, you want to travel to Athens and head back home four days later from there. This will cost $140 plus any fare difference the airline might charge.

You can request to extend your trip when you book, or through your online account up to 99 days before your trip leaves. There may be extra airline costs, and options are subject to availability. Changing your flight on tour is a little trickier, so the earlier you settle on your travel plans, the better!

What's not included?

We're happy to handle your round trip flights to and from your home gateway. We are not able to arrange additional transit or accommodations during your extension. Note that our flights must fly roundtrip from the same US or Canadian gateway.
