Do you have friends, family, or members of your community interested in travel? Learn how referrals work when you refer friends and family to Ultimate Break, Go Ahead Tours, or Adventures. This article explains who can participate, how and when rewards are issued, important rules and exceptions, and what to expect after you refer someone.
Who can participate
- A traveler who has previously traveled with Ultimate Break or is currently booked on a future Ultimate Break trip.
- A new customer to EF World Journeys (someone who has not previously booked with Ultimate Break, Go Ahead, or Adventures), age 18 or older, with a valid email address.
How rewards work
- Give $100, Get $100: Both the referrer and referee receive $100 off when the referee books an eligible trip with Ultimate Break, Go Ahead, or Adventures.
- Your credits are issued 60 days after the referee’s booking and do not expire.
- Friend's credits must be used within one year of the referral.
- For every 5th successful referral, the referrer receives a $500 bonus credit. This bonus repeats every time the referrer reaches another set of five successful referrals (no limit).
Where to find program information and your referral link
- Your personalized referral link and program information will appear in your online account.
- The program information explains how to share your link and how referees apply their $100 credit at booking.
What to expect after you refer someone
- Your credit is issued 60 days after the referee books; credit does not expire and can be applied to eligible future travel.
- Your friend's $100 credit is available to apply to their eligible booking and expires one year from the referral date.
Key rules and exceptions
- If Ultimate Break postpones the referee’s tour within 60 days of booking, the referrer’s credit is still issued on schedule.
- If your friend cancels after the 60-day issuance window, the referrer keeps the credit.
- Referral credits can be combined with other promotions and travel bank balances (repeat discounts) when paying for an Ultimate Break trip.
- If you are booking with Ultimate Break for the first time, your friend must not be a household member or rooming companion. That restriction is removed once the referrer has completed travel with Ultimate Break.
- Group Coordinator referrals follow a different structure and timing; check program materials or contact your Account Manager for Group Coordinator specific details.
