Will there be a safe?
While most accommodations will have one, we cannot guarantee there will be a safe in your room. If you're worried about leaving your belongings or important documents, a TSA-approved lock on your suitcase is a good idea. You can also check with the front desk to see if they have a safe or room to lock up your stuff.
Do I need to bring sheets?
Only if you’re going to a toga party. Or want to dress up like a ghost. The accommodations we use provide sheets, pillows, and blankets. You will not need to bring any of these things nor pay for them once you get there. If you're traveling on an Essential trip, you may need to make your own bed.
Should I bring a towel?
If you're traveling on an Essential trip, we recommend packing a microfiber towel. You may be able to rent a towel, but we can't guarantee that will always be possible.
What about laundry?
Some accommodations will have laundry facilities available. If not, then your Tour Director can help you get to a laundromat. We also recommend you bring lightweight clothing that can be hand-washed. Pack some extra detergent packets in case you end up needing to wash something in a pinch. Check out our article about laundry on tour for more tips.
PRO TIP: Pack dryer sheets with your clothes to keep everything smelling fresh. And don't forget a bag for dirty laundry!
