This whitewater rafting excursion is the epitome of Costa Rican adventure! Spend the morning floating down the Sarapiquí river, spotting exotic wildlife along the banks and in the trees, and hold tight as you paddle through Class II and III rapids. End the outing with a nacho bar lunch, and bring home one-in-a-lifetime memories.
Don't just take our word for it—here's what our travelers are saying:
"The guides for this activity were incredible, this place felt well run, safe and fun. This was an activity I’d never done before and I absolutely loved it. I would recommend it to anyone!"
The Deets
This morning excursion includes a bus transfer to the head of the river, a safety briefing and then about 2 hours on the river. The group will be split amongst several rafts, with each raft including a professional guide- everyone is in great hands!
There are facilities to change into dry wear before eating lunch. We recommend bringing water shoes, a change of clothes (can be left on the bus) and sun protection, including quick dry coverage and sunscreen. Water levels of the river will vary by season and can determine how much you will be rowing. Customers should be confident swimmers and have the ability to firmly grasp an oar for 2-3 hours.
